January 14 at the Turning Stone Resort casino in Verona, New York, USA, two good fights in the heavyweight division will take place, which
organizes Top Rank Bob Arum. The main event is a 10-round fight between Nigerian Efe Ajagba (16-1, 13 KOs) and Colombian Oscar Rivas (28-1, 19 KOs).

Card will be shown on ESPN.

Ajagba lost on points to fellow prospect Frank Sanchez a couple of years ago, and closed the losses this spring when he slammed a Journeyman in two rounds.

Rivas, who holds the obscure WBC bridgeweight title, will enter the fight after a nearly 15-month hiatus.

“I’m injury free and I’m ready to show the world what I can achieve when I’m 10% ready,” Efe said. “I respect Rivas for accepting the challenge. Let’s give the fans a great show, but on January 14, I’ll win.”
