Two fighters from Kazakhstan signed in the UFC

Representatives of Kazakhstan Asu Almabaev and Azat Maksum, who compete in the flyweight category, joined the roster of the strongest league in the world.

Asu Almabaev, 29, is on an impressive thirteen win streak under the banners of Fight Nights Global, ACB, M-1 Challenge, NFC and Brave CF. In the UFC, Almabaev will make his debut with seventeen professional victories and two defeats.

Undefeated 27-year-old Azat Maksum won sixteen fights in a row, showing himself in the regional organization Octagon Promotion and in the Brave CF league.

Almabaev and Maksum’s compatriot Zhalgas Zhumagulov is currently in the UFC flyweight division and will try to get his career back on track after three straight losses at UFC 288 in Newark on May 6.

The representative of Russia in this weight category is Tagir Ulanbekov, who occupies the fourteenth line in the division ranking.
