Top middleweight prospect (up to 69.9 kg) Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) called the future opponent – the absolute champion Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs) – a “shit version” of his twin brother Jermalla Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs). And I’m ready to deprive them both of all regalia.

In 99 days, the Australian will take on e-Charlo for the IBF, WBC, WBA and WBO belts. If he wins, he will become the ninth absolute in history in the four-belt era.

“Later, maybe I’ll get his older brother,” Tszyu said.
Sun Herald. – There is one official Charlo [Джермалл]and this [Джермелл] calls himself “Twin Charlo”. He’s the shitty version of his brother. Yes, he achieved more than a brother, having won the status of an absolute, but it’s a little strange when you imagine yourself as a “twin brother”. They are both the same, they have the same characteristics. One is a little bigger, that’s all. Let’s see. Right now I’m solely focused on ‘Junior’.”

But, says Tim, “it would be cool” to beat both Charlos. “For one evening. Why not?” he added.

Tszyu’s manager, Glen Jennings, noted that the prospect of Soul Reaver taking on both twins was not out of the question: “Tim will continue to grow. The logical choice at some stage is middleweights. But yes, we would like to do some defenses at 69.9kg.”

Actually, in case you weren’t already aware, Tszyu plans to fight Anthony Joshua in his heavyweight debut. Yes, yes, he says, “I’ll give him a few blows to the body, let’s see how he reacts to this.”
