Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, USA. The WBO NABO North American champion in the second bantamweight (up to 55.3 kg) American Rais Alim (20-0, 12 KOs) beat the tough Filipino slugger Mike Plania (26-2, 13 KOs) without any problems.
Alim seized the initiative from the opening round: he disturbed the opponent with a left hook, countered, intercepted. In the 2nd round, the referee awarded the American a knockdown – a controversial episode (there was a blow, but Plania fell definitely not because of him).
The guest tried to seize the initiative to the equator. The maximum that he could do was to create the appearance of a moderately competitive battle. In the second half of the fight, Plania completely fell apart, nothing worked for him. It is unlikely that he will be given at least one round.
Alim completely seized the initiative and honestly tried to delay the opponent in the decisive rounds – he simply biked them away and / or waited out in the clinch.
