No. 4 ranked UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall gave his prediction for the bout between Cyril Gane and Sergey Spivak, the winner of which he plans to personally challenge.
“I’m UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall and I’m here in Paris,” the Brit said in a video posted on social media. “My prediction for the fight is that it will be a late stoppage win for Cyril Gana by technical knockout.”
Earlier, the Frenchman said he had no plans to accept Aspinall’s challenge should he win, while the Moldovan heavyweight, on the contrary, said he was open to a rematch with the Brit, in a confrontation with whom he suffered his last defeat under the UFC banner two years ago.
As a reminder, the heavyweight fight between Cyril Gagne and Sergey Spivak will be the main event of UFC Fight Night 226, which kicks off at 19:30 Moscow time at the Accor Arena in Paris. The main event bouts are scheduled to begin at 22:00 Moscow time.
