If the former world welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg) American Keith Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs) meets in the ring with the rising star of the division, also representing the USA Jaron Ennis (29-0, 27 KOs), then this will end the defeat of the veteran, and early.

This opinion was expressed by the coach of Deontay Wilder, former heavyweight boxer Malik Scott.

“I think Ennis is going to stop Keith Thurman right now. And Thurman is more than just a good fighter,” says Malik. — When I share my opinion about Keith, I do it with respect. He has achieved much more than me and many others. I’m just talking in terms of skill. And in this regard, I am sure that Jaron will stop Thurman in the second half of the fight. Not because Keith is a bad fighter. Just because Ennis is so good in my opinion.”

Earlier this year, Thurman had his first fight since July 2019, defeating Mario Barrios on points. Ennis also has only one performance so far in 2022 – in May, Castio Clayton was destroyed in two rounds.

Earlier, Jaron spoke about plans for the second half of the year – Thurman is there, and not only him.
