The final fight of the title trilogy between Demetrius Johnson and Adriano Moraes will be the main event of ONE Championship’s debut event in the United States.
The ONE on Prime Video 10 tournament will take place on May 5 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, according to the Singapore-based organization.
The first fight between Johnson and Moraes took place in April 2021 at the ONE on TNT 1 tournament and ended with the defeat of the American by knockout in the second round, and in August of this year, the Mighty Mouse took a convincing revenge by knocking out the Brazilian in the fourth round and taking away his championship belt in flyweight.
Note that the fighters of the flyweight division of the Asian organization perform in weight up to 135 pounds (61 kg), which corresponds to the lightest weight category in most world leagues.
Former UFC flyweight champion Demetrius Johnson moved to ONE Championship in 2018 in a trade for Ben Askren, whose run in the UFC didn’t go too well.
