Egis Klimas, manager of the unified world heavyweight champion from Ukraine Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), shared some details of the boxer’s already completed preparations for the upcoming rematch against Briton Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs), which is scheduled for 20 August in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

“I heard that he fells, he very feels. Yesterday I returned from Dubai, where he completed the preparation (for the rematch). He is ready, – assured Klimas. It’s hard to talk about his mindset (compared to the first fight), but I think he’s very strong, he trained very hard. Swims 10 kilometers, bikes 100 kilometers, spends 4 minutes and 40 seconds under water without air. I think he’s very, very ready.”

Has Joshua gotten stronger? Ring will show. I’m sure Joshua has studied Usyk. They have already spent 12 rounds in the same ring, they already know each other. It will be interesting,” Egis anticipates.

The big and aggressive Usyk will be knocked out, the Briton’s promoter predicts.
