Rafael Fiziev’s manager, Sayat Abdrakhmanov, explained how a win over Justin Gaethje could make him the next contender for the UFC lightweight title held by Islam Makhachev.
According to Abdrakhmanov, a lot will depend not only on the performance of Ataman, but also on the duel between Charles Oliveira and Benil Dariush.
“If Oliveira wins against Dariush, or Dariush vaguely beats Oliveira, then this option is possible,” the manager said in an interview with the channel captain hardcore. “Is this the next step we want, or not? Probably no. Maybe yes. Let’s see”
