Veteran of mixed martial arts Vener Galiev does not intend to end his career, despite his 46-year-old age. The oldest fighter in Russia stated this in an interview with SE.

“I really love sports, I love fighting, and it all brings me pleasure,” Galiev said. – It so happened that my favorite thing and work all in one. Why should I graduate because of age, because of passport data? Constantly talking about my age, and whether you like it or not, you think about it, and I see that in training I work no worse than the young ones.

In his last fight, which took place on December 17 at the ACA tournament in Krasnodar, Vener Galiev defeated Artem Damkovsky by choke hold.

According to Tapology, Galiev has 35 wins and 14 losses in MMA.
