The current WBC featherweight champion (up to 57.2 kg) Mexican Ray Vargas (36-0, 22 KOs) will not fight compatriot Miguel Flores (25-4-1, 12 KOs), as previously reported.

The observer confirmed information about the co-main event of the evening: the vacant IBF 63.5 kg belt will be played by Jeremias Ponce (30-0, 20 KOs) from Argentina and Subriel Matias (18-1, 18 KOs) from Puerto Rico.
