Italian Bare Knuckle FC fighter Francesco Ricci was placed in a medically induced coma after his fight with Noah Cutter.
The 26-year-old Italian missed a blow to the trachea, but was able to continue the fight and won. After the fight, Ricci went to the hospital and underwent surgery. Complications arose during the operation, as a result, he was placed in an artificial coma.
“I pray for the health of my opponent Francesco and wish him all the best. I was told that he was in the hospital in a medically induced coma due to bleeding in the lungs caused by a tracheal hematoma he received as a result of a blow to the throat. Obviously, it happened by accident,” Ricci’s rival Noah Cutter wrote.
