Artur Arutyunyan, the founder of the Nashe Delo pop-MMA promotion, commented on the organization of the duel between showman Nikita Dzhigurda and well-known journalist Otar Kushanashvili.
“After Nikita Dzhigurda defeated Vitaly Milonov, he [Джигурда] wanted more. He went into a rage, got a taste, and said he wanted a fight. Just then he called Joseph Prigozhin, then a lawyer [Сергея] Zhorin, and in one of his shows Otar Kushanashvili called Dzhigurda f***. Dzhigurda immediately responded. Otar Kushanashvili, by the way, to my surprise, immediately reacted in the same way and accepted his challenge,” Harutyunyan told SE.
The fight will take place according to the rules of boxing, but in gloves for MMA. Earlier, Dzhigurda had a fight against Vitaly Milonov, defeating the deputy by unanimous decision following the results of three rounds.
