The forgotten Belal Muhammad has reminded the UFC of himself

UFC welterweight division number two Belal Muhammad, who is one of the likely headliners of the UFC 300 tournament, decided to remind the fans and the organization’s management of himself.

“UFC 300, 301, 320, Ramadan, tomorrow, next week – the date doesn’t matter. #andNewChampion,” the American fighter wrote on the social network.

A welterweight title fight between Belal Muhammad and the division’s reigning champion, Leon Edwards, is still a potential main event for the anniversary event, and judging by the fact that the world’s strongest league is having serious trouble organizing a high-profile bout, the welterweights’ chances of headlining the number show are growing by the day.

Belal Muhammad, 35, is riding a five-fight win streak, winning a unanimous decision over former championship belt challenger Gilbert Burns in his last fight.

Recall that the UFC 300 tournament will take place April 13 in Las Vegas, and the main event of the anniversary event the head of the organization, Dana White, promises to announce this weekend.
