Place Bell, Laval, Canada. The first unification took place in 2023. In the main event of the show, in a duel with the WBA Super and WBC titles, the world champions in lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) met at stake:
Kim Claivel (16-1, 3 KOs) from Canada lost to
Jessica Neri Plate (29-2, 3 KOs) from Mexico.

The guest quickly adapted to the local favorite – she controlled the pace and distance, constantly disturbing with right straight lines and hooks. In response, Kleivel increased the density of the fight as much as possible, due to which the fight looked competitive and very solid.

In the 3rd round, Plata seized the initiative, delivered several accented punches. Kleivel began to work even more aggressively as the first number, but she did not keep up with her opponent – she moved very solidly, combined great, worked ahead of the curve.

An attempt by the favorite to act in series also did not work. Her punches cut through the air more and more often, and Plata successfully countered. In the final round, Kleivel took hits but kept her feet.

Everyone is nervous as there was a wake-up call in the early undercard in the form of overly biased judges’ cards in favor of the local favourite. This time everything is fair: 96-94 and twice 97-93. There is an appet!

UD 10 board. Great fight! Women’s boxing continues to rapidly reach a qualitatively new level!

Supporting local super lightweight prospect (up to 63.5 kg)
Mazlum Akdeniz (18-0, 8 KOs) beat the Mexican
Christian Bielmu (19-5-2, 7 KOs) – this was the debut defense of the WBC Continental Americas belt.

The fight was not competitive. Bielma found himself on the floor three times (the first time is debatable), but managed to hold out until the final gong. Judges score: three times 100-87.

Akdeniz UD 10.
