The bantamweight bout between Umar Nurmagomedov and Corey Sandhagen is set to be the main event of UFC Fight Night 225 on August 5 in Nashville.
The organization of the fight was officially announced by the President of the UFC, Dana White.
27-year-old Umar Nurmagomedov is on a four-fight streak in the UFC, knocking out Raoni Barcelos in the last fight in the first round, and 31-year-old Corey Sandhagen won two fights in a row, defeating Song Yadong by technical knockout and a split decision by Marlon Vera.
Currently, Corey Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov are ranked fourth and eleventh in the UFC bantamweight division, respectively.
