The favorite in the fight between Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blades has been named

UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall will emerge as the favorite for his upcoming fight against Curtis Blades, the organization’s fourth-ranked heavyweight.

Currently, the odds for the Brit to win are 1.476 (67.74% probability), while the American’s success is rated at 2.8 odds (35.71% probability).

Bookmakers published the starting odds shortly after the head of the world’s strongest league, Dana White, officially announced that the heavyweight title fight will be the second major event of the UFC 304 tournament, which will take place on July 27 in Manchester.

Two years ago against Curtis Blades, Tom Aspinall suffered his only defeat under the UFC banner, suffering a knee injury as early as 15 seconds into the fight that left him unable to continue the fight.

After returning from a long rehabilitation, the Briton finished Marcin Tybura by technical knockout in the first round, and last November he knocked out Sergey Pavlovic in 69 seconds to win the interim UFC heavyweight championship belt.

Curtis Blades also had two fights after defeating Aspinall, losing by TKO to Sergey Pavlovic and knocking out Jailton Almeida.
