The favorite in the fight between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal has been determined

Former BMF titleholder, Jorge Masvidal, will emerge as a significant favorite for his upcoming boxing match against former UFC lightweight title challenger, Nate Diaz, which takes place on June 1 in Los Angeles.

Currently, the odds for Masvidal to win are 1.267 (78.95% probability), while Diaz’s success is priced at 3.75 (26.67% probability).

Bookmakers released the starting odds shortly after the ten-round boxing clash between the former UFC fighters was officially announced.

The American’s bout will be a rematch – their first fight, with the BMF title at stake, took place in November 2019 at UFC 244 in New York and ended in an early defeat for Diaz, who was not released by the referee for the fourth round due to a severe dissection.

After that, Jorge Masvidal suffered four consecutive defeats, including two unsuccessful attempts to take the UFC title from Kamaru Usman, and announced the end of his career, while Nate Diaz lost a unanimous decision to Leon Edwards in a challenger’s bout, finished Tony Ferguson with a guillotine choke, and left the world’s strongest league as a free agent.

Last August, Diaz made an unsuccessful professional boxing debut, losing by unanimous decision to blogger Jake Paul at the end of ten rounds.
