The fate of the fight between Usik and Fury has been decided

The fight for the title of absolute world champion in boxing between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usik will be held on May 18 in Riyadh, and if any of the participants of the match will not be able to enter the ring on that day, he will be fined 10 million dollars.

This was announced by the promoter of the fight, Turki Alalsheikh, in the next edition of the program “The MMA Hour”.

“If Usik gets scared, I will organize a fight between Joshua and Tyson,” Alalsheikh stated. “If Tyson gets scared, I will put any fighter he wants against Usik. Now we have guarantees on both sides and they know it.”

The Briton and the Ukrainian were due to share the ring in two weeks, on February 17, however, the day before, “The Gypsy King” suffered a dissection during sparring and asked for the fight to be postponed.

The boxing event scheduled for that date will also not take place.

Recall that Tyson Fury is the current WBC heavyweight boxing champion of the world, while Alexander Usik holds the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles in this weight category.
