The fate of the Bellator MMA league has been decided for good

Bellator MMA League will change ownership, but will exist as a separate brand for two more years.

Informed sources close to the situation say that the organization is already officially owned by the PFL league, but the takeover won’t take place until 2026.

Thus, Bellator MMA will be able to complete the lightweight grand prix, one of the finalists of which is already Russian Usman Nurmagomedov, who owns the Bellator lightweight title, and the compatriot of the champion, Alexander Shabliy, on November 17 at the Bellator 301 tournament in Chicago will try to win a second trip to the finals in a confrontation with Brazilian Patricky Freire.

The event, the main event of which will be a welterweight title fight between Ukrainian Yaroslav Amosov and Jamaican-born Jason Jackson, is the only announced tournament on the organization’s calendar so far.

Note that the league’s top fighter is Russian Vadim Nemkov, who holds the welterweight title, and Nurmagomedov is third in Bellator’s P4P rankings, one position behind Amosov.
