The evening of sensations continues: the debut defeat of the native of Kazakhstan Fress

Seebühne Elbauenpark, Magdeburg, Germany. Roman Fress (15-1, 9 KOs), a native of Kazakhstan, playing for Germany, sensationally lost
Armend Khodjay (14-2, 7 KOs) from Kosovo and lost the title of WBO intercontinental heavyweight champion (up to 90.7 kg).

The underdog confidently took the ring and set a comfortable pace and distance. Fress, it seems, was a little taken aback by such agility of Hodjai and still could not oppose anything. The favorite-champion sluggishly worked with a jab, so the challenger shortened the distance without any problems, imposed power boxing, pressed him to the ropes.

Only by the 4th round did Fress finally start to get something. The fighters rolled a solid (and for the level of Germany and even the world) mahach. Both were clearly counting on a knockout and exuberantly exchanged powerful splashes.

The favorite still could not find a convenient distance to the final gong. One of the judges tried to insure him, but even that did not help: 98-92, 96-94 and 94-96.

Khojay SD 10.

As part of the show, local ex-contender light heavyweight (up to 79.4 kg) Adam Daines (21-2-1, 12 KOs) passed the Polish gatekeeper without any problems
Norbert Dabrowski (24-10-2, 11 KOs), for which he received the WBO European Championship belt.

Daines controlled the course of the battle from the starting gong and constantly increased the advantage. In the 8th round, Dabrowski hit the floor twice, after which the fight was stopped.

Daines TKO 8.
