The date of the fight and Umar Nurmagomedov’s opponent in the UFC has become known

Despite the fact that in July of this year Umar Nurmagomedov withdrew due to injury from the fight against Cory Sandhagen, the UFC management has not given up the idea of bringing the Russian and the American in the cage.

Judging by the wall with the schedule in Dana White’s office, glimpsed in another episode of the FULL SEND podcast, a fight between Nurmagomedov and Sandhagen is in the works and could take place on February 10 in Las Vegas.

Representatives of the world’s strongest league have not yet made any statements on the matter.

Umar Nurmagomedov, 27, is riding a four-fight win streak in the UFC, having knocked out Raoni Barcelos in the first round in his last fight, while Corey Sandhagen, 31, has won three straight fights, defeating Song Yadong by TKO, Marlon Vera by split decision, and Rob Font by unanimous decision.

Cory Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov are currently ranked fourth and twelfth in the UFC’s lightweight division rankings, respectively.
