The date and location of the Bellator and PFL champions tournament has been announced

The joint Bellator and PFL event, in which the champions of the organizations will compete, will be held on February 21 in Saudi Arabia.

This was announced in an interview with Match TV by current PFL welterweight champion Magomed Magomedkerimov, whose opponent will be Jamaican-born Jason Jackson, who holds the Bellator title.

This information was also confirmed by the Russian’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz.

Last weekend, Magomed Magomedov won the PFL championship belt by finishing Sweden’s Sadiba Sy with a guillotine choke in the final event of the season, while Jason Jackson took the Bellator title from Yaroslav Amosov a week earlier by knocking out the Ukrainian in the third round.

The joint event was announced after PFL management officially announced the purchase of the Bellator MMA league, which will continue to exist independently as part of the combined roster of the two organizations.
