The Dariush-Tsarukyan and Green-Hooker fights will take place in December

Two bouts between top lightweights will be part of a UFC event that will take place on December 2 in Austin, Texas, USA.

Informed sources report that the event’s main event will be a fight between Bobby Green and Dan Hooker, while the second main event will feature Benil Dariush and Arman Tsarukian.

Two weeks ago, 37-year-old Bobby Green knocked out Grant Dawson at 33 seconds in the main event of UFC Fight Night 229, and two months before that, the American fighter put his career back on track with a third-round arm-triangle choke finish of fellow countryman Tony Ferguson.

Like Green, 33-year-old Dan Hooker is riding a two-fight win streak, having won by technical knockout over Claudio Puelles and a split decision over Jalin Turner.

Arman Tsarukian, 27, picked up his second straight win on June 17, finishing Joaquim Silva by third-round technical knockout, while Benil Dariush, 34, snapped an eight-fight win streak a week earlier, losing by first-round technical knockout to Charles Oliveira in a potential contender’s bout.
