The Broner-Redkach fight is officially confirmed. The American has a huge belly – photo

The conqueror of four weight divisions American Adrien Broner (34-4-1, 24 KOs) confirmed at a press conference BLK Prime that on February 18 he will fight with the Ukrainian Ivan Redkach (23-6-1, 18 KOs).

The fight will presumably take place in the first welterweight limit (up to 63.5 kg). But first, Broner will have to sweat a lot in the hall – just look at this cute belly.

The fight for the IBF world title in the second featherweight (up to 59 kg) between the current and former belt holders – Shavkat Rakhimov (17-0-1, 14 KOs) from Tajikistan and Joe Cordina (15-0, 9 KOs) from Britain – will be held in April in Cardiff (Wales).

Cordina was stripped of his title after he failed to defend it in time – he was forced to withdraw from the fight against Rakhimov due to an injury. He won the vacant belt in a confrontation with Briton Zelfa Barrett, but is required to make a mandatory defense with the previous champion.

Promoter Eddie HearnMatchroom Boxing) confirmed that he plans to fight on January 28 or February 4 in Nottingham (UK) between local WBA World featherweight champion (up to 57.2 kg) Lee Wood (26-2, 16 KOs) and Mexican slugger Mauricio Lara (25-2-1, 18 KOs).

Hearn makes no secret of the fact that all contentious issues with the WBA need to be resolved first – they demand that Wood immediately fight the WBA Super champion Mexican Leo Santa Cruz.

The popular American super lightweight (up to 63.5 kg) Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) signed a contract for an intermediate fight with Filipino Mercito Gesta (33-3-3, 17 KOs) – the fight will take place on January 28 in Phoenix (USA).

It is expected that if Garcia wins, on April 15 he will have a long-awaited fight with WBA World champion compatriot Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs). But he, too, first needs to beat another opponent – on January 6 he will fight with the world champion in the lower division Dominican Hector Luis Garcia.

The fighters have already met at a press conference: Gervonta wants to shut everyone up, and Garcia is already staring at Garcia. Do you think an upset is possible in the Davis-Garcia fight? We have an expert opinion.
