The act of Jon Jones worried UFC fans

Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who vowed to quit drinking for good after his controversial Las Vegas arrest, celebrated his latest visit to the United States gaming capital with a drink with former BMF title holder Jorge Masvidal.

The corresponding video, which appeared on the network simultaneously with the official announcement of the title fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic, seriously worried the fans of the strongest league in the world.

“I think he said that alcohol is no longer a part of his life.”

“Adesanya is lucky he didn’t face Jon Jones today”

“Johnny is drinking in Vegas? I will update the news feed

“Jones will ruin his career again”

“Prison is getting closer”

“I thought he said he was a teetotaller”

“Clearly learned from his mistakes and at least left his home this time”

“We all know how this ends up”

In September 2021, Jon Jones was arrested in Las Vegas just hours after his UFC Hall of Famer induction ceremony. According to the police protocol, an American fighter, while intoxicated, beat their mother in a hotel room in front of his children, and then, during the arrest, damaged a police car by crushing the hood with his head.

A week later, Jones publicly announced that he was quitting drinking forever, as his brain could no longer cope with alcohol.

“I have too many injuries to drink alcohol – my brain just can’t handle it anymore, and I quit drinking forever,” the fighter wrote on the social network. “I will turn this nightmare into the best thing that happened to me in my life. Now is the time to work harder than ever. What is evil to the devil is good to the Lord. Returning to the saddle

UFC President Dana White today officially announced that a heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic will headline UFC 295 in New York on November 11th.
