The world champion in three categories, the former undisputed champion of super lightweight, and now the holder of the WBO title in the pole middle division (up to 66.7 kg), American Terence Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) has been fighting only one fight for three years in a row in year. In 2020, there was a victory (TKO 4) over Kell Brook, in 2021 over Sean Porter (TKO 10), in 2022 – over David Avanesyan (KO 6).
For one of the best boxers of our time, such volumes cannot be considered sufficient. And therefore, in the coming year, the undefeated American wants to at least double, or even triple the number of combat performances.
“I set myself the goal of having as many fights as possible,” Terence did not hide his secret. – In 2023, I would like to have two or three fights. I want to be more active while I’m healthy.”
“I just need to stay healthy,” Crawford emphasizes. “With the current state of affairs, I can stay in the ring and stay active as often as we want.”
Recently, the number of sold broadcasts of the Crawford-Avanesyan fight was announced. But not everyone believes in it.
