On the night of December 10-11, New York (USA) will host a Top Rank boxing evening, the main event of which will be a 10-round fight for the WBO International light welterweight title (up to 63.5 kg) between an American Teofimo Lopez (17-1, 13 KOs) and Sandor Martin (40-2, 13 KOs) from Spain.
For the former undisputed lightweight champion Lopez, this will be the second fight at 63.5 kg. He spent the first in August of the outgoing year and stopped the Mexican Pedro Campa in the 7th round.
Martin rose to prominence last October when he sensationally retired star Mikey Garcia, whom he outboxed by decision.
The day before, the official trailer for the Lopez-Martin fight was presented on the official Top Rank youtube channel.
