Former unified lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) American Teofimo Lopez (16-1, 12 KOs) is sure that the defeat from George Kambosos last November did him good and made him better.
Recall that already this weekend Lopez will return to the ring – his fight in super lightweight (up to 63.5 kg) against the Mexican Pedro Campa (34-1-1, 23 KOs) will be the main event of the boxing evening in Las Vegas (USA).
“Failure is my best friend,” says Teofimo. — This does not mean that I aspire to it and want it. But failure is the experience I need to grow. It’s all about transforming negativity into positivity and how I can improve myself. The best project you can have in this world is yourself. I’ve changed a few things, including my team roster, and everything that’s needed to not only be a great champion, but leave a great legacy behind.”
Earlier, Teofimo told what he found himself in.
