American middleweight Deron Wynn, who trains at the American Kickboxing Academy and is one of Islam Makhachev’s sparring partners, has been excluded from the roster of the strongest league in the world.
Wynn was scheduled to fight Julian Marquez at UFC Fight Night 216 in Las Vegas last weekend, but pulled out two days before the fight after suffering a concussion from a fall on the stairs at UFC PI. According to the fighter, the cause of the incident was the loss of consciousness after training.
“Fired after an accident on their territory the week before Christmas,” the fighter wrote on the social network. “This is business, nothing personal – these words have never been more real”
Deron Wynn, 33, who has been with the UFC since 2019, has fought five fights in the organization, with two wins and three losses. In the last fight, which took place in June of this year, the American lost by technical knockout in the second round to his compatriot Phil Howes.
