Taila Santos has signed a contract with the PFL league

Former UFC flyweight title challenger Taila Santos, who left the organization last November, will continue her professional career with the PFL.

The 30-year-old Brazilian will make her debut for the organization on April 4 at the San Antonio event in the opening match of the women’s flyweight grand prix. There is no word on who Santos’ opponent will be, but it is known that reigning Bellator champion Liz Carmouche will be one of the competitors.

In June 2022, Taila Santos was on a four-fight win streak heading into a title fight against Valentina Shevchenko, and gave a competitive fight to “Pula,” losing to the then-reigning UFC champion by split decision.

Last August, the Brazilian was unable to get her career back on track, losing by unanimous decision to Erin Blanchfield after three rounds.
