A heavyweight fight between Tai Tuivasa and Marcin Tybura has been added to the card for UFC 298, which takes place Feb. 17 in Anaheim.
Informed sources close to the situation reported on the organization of the bout.
Australian Tai Tuivasa, 30, is riding a streak of three early defeats, having lost by knockouts to Cyril Gan and Sergey Pavlovich, as well as losing by Ezekiel choke to Alexander Volkov.
Marcin Tybura, 38, will also return to the octagon after a disappointing performance, losing by technical knockout in the first round to Tom Aspinall. Prior to that, the Pole had two consecutive victories, winning decisions over Alexander Romanov and Blagoy Ivanov.
Tai Tuivasa and Marcin Tybura are currently ranked ninth and tenth in the UFC heavyweight division rankings, respectively.
