“Storm” and “Joker” had a final battle of looks

Participants of the main event of the RCC 17 tournament, Russian Alexander Shlemenko and Serbian Alexander Ilic, faced off in a final battle of glances at the showcase weigh-in ceremony for the event, which will take place on December 15 in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

At the official weigh-in session held a few hours earlier, Storm outweighed Joker by 200 grams, recording 84.25 kilograms on the scale.

The first fight between Shlemenko and Ilic took place last August at the RCC 12 tournament and ended at the 22nd second with a sensational defeat of the former Bellator champion by technical knockout.

After that, the Russian fighter had three fights in MMA, drawing a fight with Kleber Souza, losing by unanimous decision to Magomed Ismailov, and finishing Alex Oliveira with a guillotine choke, as well as defeating Swiss Yasubei Enomoto by unanimous decision in a kickboxing rules match.

Alexander Ilic, after defeating Storm, lost by unanimous decision to Magomed Ismailov in a boxing rules bout, and also added another win to his MMA record with a split decision win over Poland’s Marcin Naruzka.
