Former UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic, commented on the organization of the title fight against Jon Jones, which was officially announced a few days ago by UFC President Dana White.
“I expected it to be July, but things didn’t go as planned,” Miocic is quoted as saying by MMAjunkie. “Now we have November 11th and I am looking forward to that day. This is the fight I want. This is the fight, the fight he wants. It’s hard to think of anything better than this.”
“I think styles make fights and we have two great styles that guarantee electric shock and fireworks. I’m going to rise to the top again and show people that I deserve to be UFC Heavyweight Champion.”
The heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic will be the main event of UFC 295, which will take place on November 11 at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York.
