Stevenson: After Lomachenko I want to fight Tank

Although the former world champion in three divisions Vasily Lomachenko is counting on a fight with the absolute lightweight Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs), another top fighter from the USA Shakur Stevenson (19-0, 9 KOs) expects to fight with a boxer from Ukraine in the same 2023.

“Maybe I will fight Lomachenko. It might be after he fights Haney. After [Ломаченко] I want to fight Tank, he said.
Sky Sports and repeated so we wouldn’t forget: “I want to fight Tank after Lomachenko, if I could choose.”

“Lomachenko is an aging person, he is slowly fading. And I’m a young killer,” Shakur boasts.

And in general, by the end of 2023, he is going to fight for entry into the top 3 pound.

“I know that I will become one of the best young fighters that I am. I’m about to take my career to the next level and I’m ready for the big PPV fights, ready for the big names. I’m charged and I’m going to show everyone why I’m cool,” Shakur promised.

At Christmas, Haney revealed exactly where the fight with Lomachenko would take place. And Stevenson was left with one option for the spring.
