Sterling is unhappy with the statements of Cejudo and Khabib

The reigning UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling, is looking forward to punishing Henry Cejudo for the disrespectful remarks that the “Triple Champion” made during his three-year retirement, taking a cue from Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“I don’t have any animosity towards him, and I’m not going to provoke it for the sake of promotion of the fight, but this guy said a lot,” Sterling said in an interview with MMA Fighting. “All this time he was sitting on the sidelines, carrying all kinds of bullshit and criticizing everyone. He did what Khabib did. When Khabib retired, he became more talkative, and his conversations were not very modest and respectful – I don’t know if he did it on purpose, or just didn’t understand how it sounds. ”

“Henry did the same, but here I have no doubt that he acted deliberately, and someone should have punched him in the face for it. Luckily, he does come back and I’ll be the guy to punch him in the face. I predict I’ll take him down three to four times in this fight. As soon as I capture him, he will understand that people were telling the truth about me. I’m a big guy. I have more reach, longer limbs, and all I have to do is grab a hold. Once I take the hold, he will be in a very bad situation. I look forward to the moment when I go out, take the gold medal from him, and shove it in his ass”

Recall that the bantamweight title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo will be the main event of the UFC 288 tournament, which will be held on May 6 in Newark.
