UFC Fight Night 199 co-main event
The fight will take place on December 19 in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) at the UFC Apex complex and will become the co-main event of the UFC Fight Night 199 tournament. The estimated start of the fight is 04:00 Kyiv time. The fight will be broadcast live on Setanta Sports.
The second most important fight of the evening will see the representatives of the top 10 UFC welterweight rankings: No. 5 Stephen Thompson (16-5-1) and No. 10 Belal Muhammad (19-3, 1 NC).
Two-time contender for the UFC welterweight title, Thompson has had one fight this year, losing on points to Gilbert Burns at UFC 264 in July. Up until this point, Wonderboy had been on a streak of victories over Vicente Luque and Jeff Neal.
Muhammad last lost in his career almost three years ago, losing a decision to Jeff Neil. Muhammad is on a five win streak and has fought three times in 2021.
