“Sport does not affect the personal qualities of a person.” Malikov about the arrest of Russian fighter Khozhiev

Malikov commented on the arrest of a Russian fighter in the United States after the murder of a doctor due to vaccination

Russian MMA fighter Magomed Malikov, in a conversation with SE, reacted to the arrest of Russian MMA fighter Akmal Khozhiev on charges of killing doctor Miran Ribati.

“I don’t know what happened there. All over the world people are engaged in mixed martial arts, it is now popular. But this sport does not affect the personal qualities of a person. For example, if someone committed some kind of crime and went to training for 5-6 years, they cling to it. We need to look at the reason why this happened, and based on this comment. I don’t know Khozhiev personally. There are a lot of guys like him who start performing and then quit. When a person who once went in for sports commits a crime, they look for the reason in sports, but this is wrong, ”Malikov said in an interview with SE correspondent Maria Kutsubeeva.

Earlier, on November 16, it was reported that Khozhiev was arrested in the United States on charges of murdering doctor Miran Ribati. According to the source, there was a dispute between them due to vaccination against coronavirus, which turned into a fight.

Khozhiev in MMA won three victories and suffered one defeat. In the last fight in the spring of 2017 at the M-1 Global tournament, he defeated Abdulaziz Jurabaev by technical knockout in the second round.
