Today, a boxing evening was officially announced on July 30 in Brooklyn (USA), the main event of which will be the fight of the former world champion in two categories Danny Garcia (36-3, 21 KOs) against Jose Benavidez (27-1-1, 18 KOs). As we reported earlier, this will be Garcia’s debut performance in the new category up to 69.9 kg.

As part of the main broadcast on the Showtime network, two more fights will also take place.

The popular Polish heavyweight Adam Kownacki (20-2, 15 KOs), who previously refused to fight with Derek Chisora, will enter the ring against the Turkish middle peasant Ali Eren Demirezen (16-1, 12 KOs). For Adam, the upcoming fight is, first of all, an opportunity to at least partially rehabilitate himself for two in a row of early defeats from Robert Helenius.

Also, within the boundaries of the first welterweight division (up to 63.5 kg), the American prospect Gary Antoine Russell (15-0, 15 KOs) and the Cuban ex-world champion in two categories Rances Barthélemy (29-1-1, 15 KOs) will meet. Recall that in the previous fight, Russell stopped the Ukrainian Viktor Postol.

It is quite possible that the well-known Ukrainian middleweight Sergey Derevyanchenko (13-4, 10 KOs) will perform in the preliminary part of this boxing show.
