Usman Nurmagomedov and his friend Kamal Idrisov injured a police officer

Dagestan Bellator fighter Usman Nurmagomedov (14-0), brother of former UFC world champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, was detained with a friend at the capital’s Sheremetyevo airport on suspicion of hitting a police officer at the airport in Kaspiysk by car.

Usman, accompanied by an escort, was taken to the plane at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport. A fighter detained in Moscow on suspicion of hitting an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is sent to Dagestan. On the plane with Nurmagomedov is his friend-athlete Kamal Idrisovwho was believed to be driving the car.

Earlier, the 23-year-old athlete and his friend were in a hurry to catch a flight from Makhachkala to Moscow. They tried to stop at the checkpoint, but they continued to move and hit a police officer, and then ran to the plane, leaving the car.

According to preliminary information, Kamal was driving the car at the time of the collision. A 39-year-old injured policeman was hospitalized with a head injury and a suspected closed craniocerebral injury, a criminal case was opened.
