Shock! Fury’s promoter’s prospect gets knocked out by a hopeless journiman – video

York Hall, London, England. An entertaining evening of boxing turned out to be the promoter of Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) Frank Warren (queensberry promotions).

In the main event of the show, local middleweight (up to 72.6 kg) Denzel Bentley (17-1-1, 14 KOs) defended the title of British champion in a confrontation with his compatriot
Marcus Morrison (25-6, 16 KOs).

The fighters offered the fans a furious action. The champion got hit in the starting round – the ropes saved him from falling. Bentley not only withstood the blow, but also managed to answer Morrison before the end of the three-minute period.

From the 2nd round, the champion began to attack even more aggressively. The applicant’s nose was bleeding at first, but soon his whole face turned into a continuous bloody mess. The fighters took a short pause in the 3rd round, and in the 4th three-minute coach Morrison intervened and stopped the fight.

Warming up in cruiserweight limit (up to 90.7 kg) local avenue
Ellis Zorro (15-0, 6 KOs) snatched victory from a compatriot gatekeeper
Deca Spellman (18-6, 9 KOs).

Zorro tried to bet on the advantage in anthropometry: he boxed with the second number, jabbed, moved. In the 4th round, he dropped his opponent with a body blow.

Ex-light heavyweight Spellman continued to put pressure on Zorro. First he shook him in the 6th round, then completely seized the initiative – the favorite failed to correctly distribute his forces for the entire fight, got tired, slowed down. Nevertheless, he pulled himself together and boxed well in the final round.

The referee gave the victory to the favorite with a score of 77-74.

Zorro PTS 8.

Warren’s 18-year-old starlet with a strong amateur career is a local featherweight fighter (up to 59 kg)
Royston Barney Smith (3-0, 1 KO) for the first time in his professional career, he won ahead of schedule, and he did it in a few seconds. Got a compatriot
Paul Holt (8-15, 2 KOs).

30 seconds is all it took! @sugarboyroy got it done in one!

What a performance from the 18-year-old

In the limit of the same weight, the local prospect
Frank Arnold (9-1-1, 3 KOs) shocked by an early defeat to a hopeless journiman from Nicaragua
to Brian Mairen (12-30-1, 6 KOs), who went on a series of 7 defeats in a row.

In the 3rd round, Arnold was heavily knocked down.

Who saw that coming?! Brayan Mairena stuns Frank Arnold!

Will the 9-0 prospect get back into the fight?

Apparently, he never recovered – in the next three minutes he was brutally knocked out. Beautiful and creepy at the same time.
