Shlemenko answered Emelianenko: “His words are a complete lie”

Former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko, in an interview with SE, commented on Alexander Emelianenko’s words about negotiations with REN TV about their fight in the spring of 2020.

In an interview with his manager Azamat Bostanov, Emelianenko said that Shlemenko was offered $150,000 for the fight, and he asked for $300,000.

“The work of Azamat Bostanov is evident,” Shlemenko noted. “Trying to organize big money fights for him. That’s why they rock this topic. That’s all. Clinging to every opportunity. The only thing that bothered me and why I am ready to talk to journalists about this… What Alexander says is a lie. 100% lie, complete lie. About money – about 150 thousand [долларов], which I was allegedly offered for a fight with him, but I allegedly did not come out and asked for 300 thousand. This is a complete lie. You can even call the girl who negotiated from REN TV and ask how much they offered me. And the amount there was 7 million rubles – for the fight with him according to the rules of boxing.
