Shlemenko and Ismailov agreed on a fight that could take place in the summer of 2022

Russian fighter Magomed Ismailov called out former Bellator champion Alexander Shlemenko to fight. The latter agreed.

This happened today, December 18, in Yekaterinburg after the RCC 10 tournament.

“I came here in search of a man, a fighter who is ready to cut me in a five-round fight, who has steel fists. I just want to kill myself, and as I understand it, he is not in this room. He has established himself as a grunt. I came specifically for him,” Ismailov said, alluding to Shlemenko.

Shlemenko was not in the hall, but he connected online via video link and answered “Bald Predator”.

Maga, you are so loud that you can be heard even in Omsk. I’m busy in the spring and autumn, but in the summer I’ll be happy to find 25 minutes to kill with you in this RCC cage. Challenge accepted, let’s get ready,” Shlemenko replied.

Nikolai Klimenko, the executive director of the RCC league, reacted immediately: “A lot of words, but we are waiting for action. We are waiting for you in the cage, we are waiting for you at the RCC, but on one condition. But we will discuss this in private.”

Ismailov, 35, in his last fight in October 2021 at AMC Fight Nights 105 lost to Vladimir Mineev.

37-year-old Shlemenko also defeated Artur Huseynov on points at the Eagle FC tournament in October.
