Shavkat Rakhmonov’s sister, Sora Rakhmonova, will try to win a contract with the UFC at the Dana White’s Contender Series qualifying show, which will be held on September 26 in Las Vegas.
The rival of the 25-year-old representative of Kazakhstan will be the 25-year-old native of Lithuania, Ernesta Karikaite.

Last month, Sora Rakhmonova, who competes in the bantamweight division, added to her record with a fourth pro victory when she finished Russia’s Valeria Karyagina at the NFC 51 tournament in Almaty. Rakhmonova suffered her only defeat in June 2021, losing by unanimous decision to Russian Veronika Borisova.
Undefeated Ernesta Karikaite also has four professional victories to her credit, and one fight with her participation ended in a draw.
