Shara Bullet is ready to replace Chimaev in the fight with Adesanya

Popular Russian fighter Sharabutdin Magomedov, who plans to compete at the UFC’s debut event in Saudi Arabia, is hoping the rumors are true and the show will be headlined by a middleweight fight between Hamzat Chimaev and Israel Adesanya.

“Shara Bullet” said in an interview with Match TV.

“I would like the Chimaev and Adesanya fight to happen,” the Russian stated. “Because if suddenly Chimaev gets injured, I can step in as a substitute and give people what they expect from two punchers. I think such sparks will leave few people indifferent.”

A few days earlier, Magomedov announced that he will compete at the UFC event in Riyadh on June 22, expressing hope that his opponent will be the winner of the fight between Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen.

Last week, UFC head man Dana White denied rumors of a Chimaev vs. Adesanya fight, but that doesn’t mean the fight won’t happen.

Undefeated 29-year-old Sharabutdin Magomedov made a successful debut under the UFC banner last October, winning a three-round unanimous decision over Bruno Silva.
