Popular Russian fighter Sharabutdin Magomedov did not ignore the statement of former UFC middleweight title challenger, Marvin Vettori, who announced his desire to share the octagon with him.
“Marvin Vettori, I’m eager to share the cage with you,” “Shara Bullet” wrote on social media, addressing the Italian. “We can gather stadiums and give people bread and spectacle. I don’t doubt your fighting skills and spirit, but I didn’t come out of music school either. I’m asking the UFC to give me a chance to go out there and show what I can do.”
Undefeated 29-year-old Sharabutdin Magomedov made a successful UFC debut this October, defeating former M-1 champion Bruno Silva by unanimous decision.
Marvin Vettori, 30, ranked fifth in the UFC middleweight rankings, last fought in June of this year, losing a five-round unanimous decision to Jared Cannonier.
