Shamil Abdurahimov fired from UFC

Russian heavyweight Shamil Abdurahimov, who suffered his fourth early loss in a row over the weekend, is no longer a fighter in the strongest league in the world.

41-year-old Shamil Abdurahimov has been playing in the UFC since 2015 and during this time he managed to spend eleven fights in the organization, scoring five victories and suffering six defeats.

In the last fight, which took place on January 21 at UFC 283 in Rio de Janeiro, the Russian lost by technical knockout in the second round to the Brazilian Jailton Almeida. Prior to that, Abdurahimov lost by technical knockouts to Curtis Blades, Chris Dakas and Sergey Pavlovich.

The Russian fighter has victories over Walt Harris, Andrei Orlovsky and Marcin Tybura.

Until recently, Shamil Abdurahimov was ranked fifteenth in the UFC heavyweight division.
