Sergey Pavlovich arrived in Las Vegas to fight for the UFC title

Russian fighter Sergei Pavlovich has arrived in Las Vegas, where in a few days he will insure a fight for the vacant UFC heavyweight championship between Jon Jones and Cyril Gun.

“On the spot,” the Russian wrote on the social network, posting the corresponding photo.

A few weeks earlier, the fact that Pavlovich could become an alternative participant in the title fight was announced by his manager Rizvan Magomedov, and later this information was officially confirmed by representatives of the organization.

Recall that the title fight between Jon Jones and Cyril Gan on March 4 will head the UFC 285 tournament in Las Vegas, and if the services of Sergei Pavlovich are not required, on April 22 the Russian will enter the challenger’s fight against the American Curtis Blades.

Sergey Pavlovich, 30, is on an impressive five stoppage streak in the UFC and is currently ranked third in the organization’s heavyweight division.
