Sehudo had some advice for Aspinall on the fight with Pavlovic

Contender for the interim UFC heavyweight championship belt, Tom Aspinall, who is set to share the octagon with Sergey Pavlovich as early as this weekend, must kick his opponent’s legs to deny the Russian knockout artist a standup advantage, former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo believes.

“Pavlovic has a huge arm span compared to Aspinall – 84 inches (213 cm),” MMAnews quoted the American as saying. “That’s almost twice as big as mine. Also, the dude has power and is technical – that’s what makes Sergey Pavlovich Sergey Pavlovich.”

“Fifteen knockouts in nineteen fights, that’s impressive, but you have to talk about Sergey’s weaknesses as well. He relies too much on his hands and I’m curious to see if Tom can beat his legs off to slow Sergey down and take away the power he has in his hands”

The title fight between Sergey Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall will be the second main event of UFC 295, which takes place on Nov. 11 at Madison Square Garden Arena in New York City. The organization’s management made the decision to play out the interim title after the division’s reigning champion, Jon Jones, was injured and pulled out of the event.
