Sean Strickland reacted to Jamal Hill’s arrest

Reigning UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland, has not let up on the news that former UFC bantamweight titleholder, Jamal Hill, was arrested for battery on his older brother earlier this week.

“You got charged with domestic violence for fighting with your brother?” wrote Strickland on social media, addressing Hill. “Looks like I’ve gotten away with similar accusations a few times. If you didn’t fight with your brother, you’re considered not brothers after all.”

“But Jamal, your brother sure s**** because he called the cops. Maybe he won’t be your brother anymore after such a b***** act. Just thinking out loud.”

The day before, news broke that Jamal Hill was arrested by Michigan police on Monday and released the same day after prosecutors formally charged him with aggravated domestic violence.

At the same time, the management of the American fighter released a statement according to which Hill considers himself innocent and is ready to prove it in court. The first hearing in the case will be held in January next year.

Earlier this year, Jamal Hill won the vacant UFC bantamweight championship belt by defeating Glover Teixeira by unanimous decision, but in July, the 32-year-old American was forced to vacate the title after tearing his Achilles tendon while playing basketball.
